Hunter had a great first day of school. He has the same teacher for second grade as he did for first grade. They built another school nearby so they thought it would be nice to keep the kids together with their teachers since they were losing some of their friends. He only has five new kids in his class.
His favorite thing about his new classroom is his desk. It has a lid and a large compartment underneath. Perfect for a little boy who loves to have his own space.
Most of his good friends either moved away this summer or went to the new school, so Hunter has been a little sad about that. However, he's already making new friends and loves being back at school.

Boy Hunter looks handsome. That is too bad that many of his friends have left Orenco. We were so bummed that Maisey was going to Quatama because there aren't any kids from our ward even in that school. However, now that school has started she has been very excited about each day.
