Fun in the Sun

The sun came out to see us on Saturday and we just loved it. We've really missed it. I took the boys to a park and they were so thrilled to play outside. Hunter has been practicing his monkey bar skills lately, and was undeterred when he fell and got a mouthful of wood chips. Luckily after a quick brush off, he was splinter-free and off to try it again.
Devan was in a friendly mood and decided it was his job to help each child up the ladders and steps-even if they were older children and very capable of doing it themselves.
Aiden was tired from another sleepless night and a little less thrilled with being at the park. He didn't even enjoy the swings and wanted me to hold him once I got him out of the stroller.

We took a walk around to park and discovered that the Hillsboro Fire Dept. was there. They gave the boys fire hats and badges. They also let them sit in the fire truck and look at all the equipment. What a lucky day!

Then we went to two different stores to find a lunchbox for Hunter. We have been sending him with a bag lunch in an effort to get him to eat more at school lunch.

Finally, after grabbing a quick bite to eat for dinner, we all took a nice long walk. We just love it when the weather is sunny!
