Spring Break

I told Hunter that he could make a list of activities that he would like us to do for spring break this year. He grabbed a piece of paper and wrote "go on an airplane to see Grandma & Grandpa Welsh". I had to explain to him that we could only do things in Oregon. So in true Hunter fashion he made a chart, labeled with each day of the week, and then proceeded to fill in the boxes with activities. First on the list was going swimming. Then came going to a park on Tuesday. We ended up chasing the sun that day without success and finally the wind drove us to Washington Square mall.  We met Matt for dinner and the kids played in the plastic play area:
Wednesday was movie day and Hunter and I went to see Horton Hears a Who. It was lots of fun to have a little date with him and he loved it. Thursday Hunter got to play with his friend Ashley. Friday Auntie Mabel came over for lunch and to play games with the boys while Mom and Dad went dancing. Saturday, our planned trip to the zoo was nixed because Devan and Aiden were pretty sick. So we ended up making sugar cookies and decorating them. All in all a very inexpensive, but very fun spring break.

Oh, looks like tons of fun! I really want to see Horton Hears a Who..who says you can't go see a kid movie without having kids, eh? Spring breaks are the best as a kid. If only BYU had a spring break..that'll be the day.

That was my deleted comment by the by..typos really get me down.
