Devan's Birthday Part 2

It's so hard to believe that Mr. Devan is five years old. He is such a character and a delight. He is the kind of cute that turns heads and makes us giggle. He is so affectionate and kind hearted. He is the kind of kid that keeps you waiting in anticipation for what he is going to do next. We love you so much Devan!!!

We really had a lot of fun doing Devan's Birthday party this year. It was his first friend birthday party. We invited kids from his preschool and primary classes. The Scooby-Doo theme made for lots of interesting activities, we really enjoyed getting them ready and throwing the party. Here's the list of activities:

1. Coloring sheets for the kids to color while everyone arrived
2. Then we played Shaggy, Shaggy, Scooby (a variation of duck, duck, goose)
3. The treasure hunt mentioned in the previous post.
   
4. Pin the tail on Scooby
5. Scooby Cupcakes & Opening Presents
   
6. We had them color their own Scooby masks
7. They watched a Scooby-Doo episode
   
8. They had race to make mummies (wrap a couple of the kids in TP)
9. A ball toss into Scooby's mouth

Then on the day of his birthday, Matt decorated another Scooby cake for Devan. We had his Aunties over and opened the family gifts. In the picture below he is hugging the package of chocolates we gave him, he was thrilled to get some sweets.
