Memorial Day on Wheels

Memorial Day weekend turned out to be quiet for us, mostly because of a tighter budget. I also got to start my new calling. I am no longer the choir director and I've been called to be the Senior Primary Chorister.

The day of Memorial day started with Matt helping Marty and Juliet move their new piano. Then we had a fun brunch with them. Afterwards we tried to figure out what we could do that wouldn't cost too much and that wasn't too far away (gas is $4 a gallon!). We came up with rollerskating. Yes, rollerskating with three boys was our very ambitious decision. It turned out to be fun for the most part. Hunter was determined to teach himself how to skate and would not take any help from us. As you can see in the video, he had all him limbs going in different directions, but he managed not to fall most of the time. Although he did have a couple bad falls. Matt dragged Devan along for most of the time and he rode on the back of the stroller for the rest of the time. It was something fun and different for us to do.
