We went to see the Dinosaur Exhibit at the Zoo last month. There was a preview for Zoo members, so we braved the 99 degree heat to go for free...twice.
The boys were in heaven there. Most of the dinosaurs were motorized, one even spit at you (sprayed water out of it's mouth)! Early on in the exhibit I gave the camera to Hunter and he took pictures of every dinosaur, sign, and poster.
Devan and Hunter took turns riding on Auntie Juliet's scooter and in the stroller.
There was also an area where they got to dig up fossils and do a puzzle. The first time through the exhibit took us over an hour. The second time we sailed through in 20 minutes.
Then we decided to keep trucking and we went through the rest of the zoo despite the heat. It actually wasn't too bad and the kids had a ball. We even had a race up the steep hill.
Finally, to get a little break we rode the train. This was in addition to going to a pizza party with a playgroup earlier on in the day. Then afterward we went out to dinner to celebrate Juliet's birthday. It was a great day full of fun and memories.
